History has been filled with women who change the world through seemingly simple acts of rebellion. My work uses symbolic representation, historical and mythological to communicate the power of women.

Women have lived with social paradox as long as they have walked the earth. The women who push boundaries are the ones we remember. The woman in my work are meant to be the preistess and leaders. My femininity is weaponized. I feel a strong emotional connection the women who throw the world off by either eating too much, wearing too little, being too sexual, being too smart, or generally being undomesticated.
